Studying Festivals and Tourism

Home

I am ever-curious about the social and psychological experience of  festival and cultural site visitors. I wonder what people take away from their visit and how understanding this can inform management practices. To satiate my curiosity, I have spent years studying various types of visitors’ experiences including: self-serving bias’ in visitors’ attributions of impacts at campgrounds, arts subscribers’ attitudes towards sponsorship, theatre festival attendees motives and values, visitors’ mindfulness in a festival setting, learning from audio/video tours at a National Historic Site and the meaning of learning from tourism.

The image is part of the template (I intend to change it eventually) and it really didn’t take much time to create using a wordpress template. This is much better than our standard University profile page which we don’t get to control.
